AYANTHI PALIHAWADANA
BARRISTER
Ayanthi completed her Pupillage in August 2024 with Lloyds PR Solicitors. She originally joined the firm in 2021 as a Paralegal, where she managed a diverse caseload within the Magistrates’ Court and Extradition Department, assisting in the preparation and progression of complex criminal matters.
She is now instructed in a broad range of cases across the Crown Court, Youth Court, and Magistrates’ Court, representing clients at all stages of proceedings.
Prior to joining Lloyds PR Solicitors, Ayanthi completed an LLM in Human Rights Law at Queen Mary University of London. Alongside her studies, she undertook an internship with AMERA (Africa and Middle East Refugee Assistance), supporting refugee legal aid initiatives and strengthening her understanding of access to justice for displaced and vulnerable individuals.
Ayanthi is both Police Station accredited and a Court Duty Solicitor.
