Actual Bodily Harm

Actual bodily harm is less serious that grievous bodily harm and usually is a result of an assault or battery.

A person can be charged with ABH if there is evidence to show that any unlawful force was used even if this only results in scratches or bruises.

We are regularly instructed to defend cases involving GBH and ABH.
