Arian commenced pupillage with Lloyds PR in January 2026 under the supervision of Jay Nutkins.
Arian was awarded the Harmsworth Scholarship by Middle Temple toward his studies at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy and was called to the bar in 2024.
Prior to obtaining pupillage at Lloyds PR, Arian worked as a County Court advocate. His work involved appearing before District Judges in the County Court for hearings such as small claims trials, applications for relief from sanctions, possession claims, approval hearings and case management conferences. Arian also spent a year as a clerk in the Crown Court observing criminal practice, enjoying his oral role in court and drawing orders.
Alongside his studies, Arian was appointed the Captain of Moots at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, assisted litigants in person in the Civil and Family Courts and authored a research paper in legal pedagogy.
Arian comes to Lloyds with significant experience, advocating in over 200 civil hearings and observing a year of Crown Court proceedings. He believes that this will assist him greatly in his career at the Bar.
