AREAS OF PRACTICE
Anoushka joined the confiscation team in June 2019 having completed the Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Law. Her work entails Crown Court proceedings under Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, cash forfeiture matters, and criminal fraud defence.
Prior to joining Lloyds PR Solicitor, Anoushka volunteered with the Prisoners’ Advice Service where she gave legal advice to prisoners on a weekly basis and attended in-prison legal clinics. Anoushka also volunteered at Toynbee Hall Legal Advice Centre, and was involved, pro bono, in a case with the City of London Criminal Appeals Clinic in 2018.
Anoushka is assisting in the defence of a Royal Mail fraud prosecution worth £6 million pounds.
Anoushka is defending two large POCA cases that have both involved complex international transactions and relationships which have required considerable international investigation in response to allegations of considerable hidden assets:

Anoushka is an avid sportswoman. Prior to working she captained her university college Women’s Rugby Club, trained with Wilts and Dorset WRFC, and played in local clubs. Anoushka sails, and spends many a weekend off the south coast racing with other members of BYC.
In her remaining free time Anoushka indulges in her love of theatre as often as she is able.
