AREAS OF PRACTICE

Subashini is known assisting clients from all walks of life. As well as being committed to protecting the liberty of clients, she is determined to ensure that her clients are given a fair trial.

Since joining the firm in early 2016, Subashini has gained substantial experience in dealing with cases in the Crown Court, under the supervision of Mohsin Ariff. She is known for her ability to critically analyse prosecution evidence, follow every potential line of enquiry and ensure that her clients are informed of any progress in their case. As such, Subashini has a direct approach in dealing with cases, getting to the heart of the problem and delivering practical solutions.

Whilst working in several charities and law firms, Subashini assisted numerous clients dealing with homelessness and immigration matters. From her experience of running a busy legal advice line, Subashini has developed the knowledge and expertise to assist clients in identifying secondary legal problems. 

Subashini is also able to deal with all matters relating to Confiscation and other proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

Subashini is currently a Trainee Solicitor at Lloyds PR Solicitors. She is known for being trustworthy, hardworking and committed to acting in the best interests of her clients.

The prosecution at trial in Woolwich Crown Court offered no case to answer with respect to the allegation of inflicting GBH, and successful in argument of no case to answer for an allegation of affray.

Acquittal of client from Uxbridge Magistrates Court after facing unfounded allegation of assault by beating of his wife on two separate occasions.

  • R v JW (2017)

Acquittal of client represented at Willesden Magistrates Court after facing allegation of assault.

  • R v KM (2017)

Thorough preparation of the case before trial at Hammersmith Magistrates Court led the CPS to discontinue the matter.

  • R v MO (2017)

Vulnerable client charged with assault ABH and criminal damage whereby we managed to ensure that matter was discontinued before trial.

Assisting Mohsin Ariff in this case, where there was overwhelming evidence. Initially, the verdict was a hung jury, however after re-trial the Defendant was convicted at Isleworth Crown Court

acquittal of possession of false insurance documents with intent to deceive before Camberwell Green Magistrates Court.

After considerable work, the prosecution decided to offer no evidence to the charges against the Defendant before Southwark Crown Court.

Representing the Defendant in the POCA aspect of his case after his guilty plea. This involved assessing the value of the drugs and challenging the Crown’s case at Kingston Crown Court.
